Beverly’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States in juried exhibitions, in solo shows and in group shows. Her work is also part of several corporate collections and The Baltimore Museum of Art Prints and Drawings Collection. Taking an experimental and eclectic approach, her work captures sensations and impressions through color, texture and form.

Reflecting on her process, Beverly states: “Our natural world is invigorating - nature’s rhythm, flux, flow and space intrigues me. The juxtaposition of various elements to make a whole visual statement begins with a faint or fleeting indication of an idea, reflecting ruminations on some sort of experience and is akin to developing an understanding about our human condition and the world we move through each day.”

As a professional artist, Beverly is bridging her professional graphic design experience along with her studio skills through teaching Art and Design at Troy University in southeast Alabama. Prior to moving to Alabama, Beverly lived in Baltimore, Maryland working as a graphic designer. She received her M.F.A. from the Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania in printmaking and her B.F.A. concentrating in painting and printmaking at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to her artistic pursuits Beverly is a beekeeper and likes to travel as much as possible.

Her husband Ed, has a website too, if you’re interested. zacharyfont.com
